When humans are overwhelmed with emotion, we sometimes do crazy
things. I've seen people punch walls, scream aloud, laugh
uncontrollably. But one of the most common emotional reactions to
sadness or anger is crying. Humans do it all the time.
But it was long thought that we were the only living things that shed tears when overcome with emotion. Well, when this mom dog was reunited with her puppies recently, she did something unexpected and touching.
Now, the general consensus amongst the dog-owning community is that when fluids are discharged from a dog's eyes, there is something wrong. Epiphora is the usual diagnosis. Regardless, it was a touching moment with quite a coincidental case of epiphora.
It's still nice to see the dog family reunited once again. Just be sure to get that momma to the vet so her eyes can get better!
